Sari Boren is playwright, essayist, and museum exhibit developer. She premiered her touring solo play Exhibiting in 2019 and was a member of Company One Theater’s PlayLab Unit. Sari wrote “The Violet Room” for Flat Earth Theater’s collaborative play 7 rooms: The Masque of the Red Death. Her essays, “The Slurry Wall” and “He’s a Rope,” were both Notable Essays in The Best American Essays. Sari has received grants or fellowships from the St. Botolph Club Foundation, Mass Cultural Council, and Vermont Studio Center. Sari is also a museum exhibit developer who’s worked over 50 museum exhibits nationwide, including  for the National Air and Space Museum, the newly designed MIT Museum, and many National Park Service sites. She received an MFA from Lesley University in the Stage & Screen concentration, an M.Ed from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA from Brandeis University.
