My poetry has appeared in Down in the Dirt, Awosting Alchemy, The Poetic Pinup Revue, and Eye on Life. I earned a certificate in fiction writing from Stanford Continuing Studies in 2016, and was named Literary Stage Exhibitor of the Year at the San Mateo County Fair in 2018. Also in 2018, my novel DIRTY won Pitchapalooza at the Kauai Writers Conference. Most recently, I've been selected twice to read personal essays at Bay Area Generations, a literary salon.
Originally from Massachusetts, I now live in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California with my boyfriend of thirty-plus years, a twelve-year-old feline who thinks she’s a princess, and an eight-year-old cat who plays fetch like a dog. I earn my keep as a senior producer for AAA video games. Current obsessions include: women's literature and the role of female authors in public discourse; my ancient crock pot and its magical propensity for making good meals; and Alex Garland's DEVS on FX/Hulu (I'll debate the multiverse vs. determinism any day of the week).
