Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

NOTE: Advance sales have ended, but tickets are still available at the door!

Co-presented by San Francisco Shakespeare Festival

What better way to kick off 17 years of Litquake, than to celebrate 400 years of the world's most influential poet and dramatist, at the elegant chandeliered Green Room overlooking San Francisco City Hall. With hosted bar and catered light bites and dessert, and appearances by poet Gary Soto, Celtic harpist Shelley Phillips, and a special "off-color" performance from members of SF Shakes. Dramatic accessories encouraged!
$30 advance, $35 at the door

Mingle with Litquake authors, friends and supporters, pick up a copy of our Festival Guide, and hear poetry from Gary Soto, author of the new collection You Kiss by th' Book (each poem begins with a line from Shakespeare). Sample craft lagers from Sudwerk Brewery Co., and themed cocktails from Shakespeare Vodka, as you plan your Litquake week.
